Mi canción de hoy es para una maravilla de Gerard Vidal, o lo que es lo mismo, The Bird Yellow. Este singer songwritter barcelonés, publicó como adelanto de su primer álbum de larga duración, Little Kids, mi canción de hoy. Lógicamente Roses in the Sand, tení que formar parte de la ópera prima del joven cantante y compositor catalán, y es el segundo corte de este genial trabajo. Una propuesta en la línea de los más inspirados singer songwriters del indie folk anglosajon. Canciones cuidadas, interpretadas en inglés, de mucha calidad. Para muestra, mi canción de hoy ;) Agur!
The Bird Yellow, es el proyecto unipersonal del artista barcelonés Gerard Vidal, que se bandea a la perfección en el indie folk de raíz anglosajona. Su primer álbum de estudio lo lanzó en 2018 bajo el titulo Little kids. Once cortes interpretados en inglés, entre los que se incluye mi canción de hoy, tema que fue adelanto del mismo. Cuatro años después, este mismo año 2022, publica su segundo trabajo, Pink Honey Rain, siete cortes en la línea de su anterior trabajo que no hacen sino confirmar el buen hacer de este joven singer songwriter catalán.
